Subject How can i assign the value of <xsl:variable> to the <input> tag
Date Wed, 29 Nov 2000 21:15:36 GMT
Dear All,
 In my xsl file i tried to assign the value of the <xsl:variable> to the <input>
tag of
 a <form> but it fails.
 My xsl code is as follows :

 <xsl:variable name="id">
  <xsl:value-of select="id-element"/>
 </xsl:variable>

 <form action=.......  >
  <input type="hidden" name="id-value" value="{$id}"/>
 </form>

 the url generated actually contains the "id" value (ex;1000) but within a code characters
 of the "{$}" symbols as follows : "list.xml?id-value=%0A+++1000+++"
 but i want the url to be : "list.xml?id-value=1000"
 how can i accomplish it ? how can i remove these code characters ?
 Note : i tried with translate function but it does not work.

 can any one help me ?

 M. Amin
