What do you see ? Is there an error message ?

Try to save the link content on your local drive, to see if it's a PDF
document (right clic, "save link content" or something similar).

But I think you've made a mistake in your config...
(I use IE 5.0, and change the extension .xml to .coc, to be sure IE doesn't
know it)
