Subject RE: phone.com cache problem
Date Thu, 28 Sep 2000 11:22:52 GMT

Hi All,

While I am using xsl to transform xml to wml, I hope the cache of the phone
doesn't work. so I should use the following:
Do you test DB Prism HeaderProcessor (http://www.plenix.com/dbprism/).
With this processor you has to send a xml like this:
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<?cocoon-process type="http"?>
<?http mode="Cache-Control" value="must-revalidate"?>
....
<page>
....
</page>

With this xml fragment you sent back to the browser directly in the Http Header response the
cache control directive.
It Is equivalent to response.sendHeader("Cache-Control","must-revalidate"); // in java.
Best regards, Marcelo.

PD: To setup HeaderProcessor in Cocoon you only need adds Prism.jar to the classpath and this
line in cocoon.properties:
##########################################
# Header Processor, set this to work with cookies, redirect url and dymamic login
##########################################
processor.type.http = com.prism.HeaderProcessor
