Subject RE: link generation
Date Fri, 04 Aug 2000 07:23:57 GMT
hi,

Here's the code in my xsp page...

		<xsp:element name="a">
    			<xsp:attribute name = "href">
        		www.coucou.com
    			</xsp:attribute>
		</xsp:element>

and the mapping in my stylesheet...

<xsl:template match="a">
	<xsl:element name="a">
		<xsl:attribute name="href"><xsl:value-of select ="@href"
/></xsl:attribute>
	</xsl:element>
</xsl:template>

Where I have to put the text, the picture or anything else linked to
www.coucou.com ? I guess in the xsp page...but before or after the
xsp:attribute...I've tried already all the possibilities I think. Do I need
to use the xsp:content statement around the xsp:element statement in the xsp
page?

Thx

David

<xsp:element name="a">
    <xsp:attribute name = "href">
        <xsp:expr>getSomeDynamicURL()</xsp:expr>
    </xsp:attribute>
</xsp:element>

Is that what you want to achieve?

Of course your stylesheet will need to map the XSP <a> tag to an HTML <a>
tag (assuming HTML is your output format).

Yann.
