Subject Performance of id() function
Date Wed, 23 Aug 2000 09:00:04 GMT
Hi,

I'm testing an fairly complex stylesheet (7 included stylesheets, around
50-70 matches), and everything was fine and speedy enough, until I had to
make arbitrary link based on a ID attributes.

The time has gone up wildly (before, it took about 30 seconds, now it is
around 2 minutes).

The Oracle implementation seems faster than Xalan, and much faster than XT,
which go against the chart of performance I have go through. Is there any
advice to make it go faster ? Any way to use Oracle parser v2 with cocoon ?

Thanks for your answers.
