Subject Re: AW: Wildcard in a SQL-query??
Date Mon, 24 Jul 2000 09:16:51 GMT
Hi Henning,

True sorry but the examples was only to give an Idea
of what I was searching for. I guess I didn't do that
very well. So here I go again

I'm looking for a way to refere to the variable that I
create exactly like this

<xsp:logic>
 String day = request.getParameter ("day");
 day.trim();
 day = "'" + day + "%'";
</xsp:logic>

In my query I'd like to use the day-var like this.

SELECT Event_Id, Body, Starttime, Endtime FROM Events
WHERE Starttime LIKE day ORDER BY Starttime Desc

Can anyone help me with this

(Sorry the former ambiguous question)

-Nicki
