I agree that there is a great deal of potential in SVG.  It
does have the potential to compete with Shockwave on some
levels, and its DOM support, font support, and scriptability
offers some unique features.

In the prior plugin, I found the rendering performance to be
terrible.  Especially when rendering scaled fonts.  I'm
hoping to see improvements there.
