Subject SQL processor & Informix question
Date Mon, 28 Feb 2000 23:54:36 GMT
Hello,

Apache/1.3.11 (Unix) ApacheJServ/1.1 mod_perl/1.21
secured_by_Raven/1.4.1 configured with Cocoon-1.7
Solaris 2.7, sparc, java Solaris_JDK_1.2.2_05, Informix 9.1.14, informix
jdbc200jc1

I've got a .xml page that I'm trying to fetch some data from Informix.
Below is the connectiondefs (with userid & password **** out). I'm
passing in the country from a form in another page.

----BEGIN---
 <connectiondefs>
  <connection name="foo_connection">
   <driver>com.informix.jdbc.IfxDriver</driver>

<dburl>jdbc:informix-sqli://vlad:1526/stores7:informixserver=cbi_dbresearch</dburl>

   <username>****</username>
   <password>*****</password>
  </connection>
 </connectiondefs>

 <query connection="foo_connection"
        null-indicator="y"
        tag-case="upper">
SELECT * FROM CUSTOMER WHERE STATE = '{@country}';
 </query>
---END---

I get the following stackstrace in the error log:

java.sql.SQLException: Not in transaction.

Any ideas?

I've done similar queries with oracle & postgresql with out problems.

Thanks.
