I guess you could write a Producer that calls your CGI program catches its
output and then hands it to Cocoon.
Just check that your CGI only returns an XML file (and no HTTP headers),
otherwise you have to cleanup the output of the CGI before the creation of
the Document object.

Just check how Producer works.
