- Depending on your needs (did I say ''courage''?) you might want to use a different version
of Cocoon, here's what we have to offer:
-
- !!! Stable release
- The main reason is that build-time selection of which Cocoon components ("compile-time Blocks")
to activate works today, whereas runtime selection/activation of Blocks is much harder to
implement and will come in a later version.
? ^
                                                                        ^
                  ^ ^ ^^^^ ^^^^^^^^^^^^^

to activate works today, whereas runtime selection/activation of blocks is much harder to
implement. It's aimed to have it implemented in Cocoon 2.2.
? ^
                                                                        ^
                ++++++  ^^^  ^^^^^^^^ +++++ ^  ++++    ^^^^  ++ ++

- !!! Bleeding edge
- (not really a ''release'' of course).
-
- The new build system makes it easy to get your own copy of the latest and greatest (possibly
untested) CVS code, see [WhereToGet21Dev].

- The __pyramid structure__ drives some of the design decisions. For example the Cocoon Processing
Instructions, and the W3C XML Stylesheet PI were both discarded because they mix content and
style, i.e. the style is referred to from the content even if it's not explicitly styled.
These associations are now made through the [sitemap]
