Subject [jira] Closed: (COCOON3-7) Add a missing FO Serializer
Date Fri, 07 Nov 2008 16:26:48 GMT

Reinhard Poetz closed COCOON3-7.

    Resolution: Fixed

thanks for the patch. I replaced your sample with the sample from Cocoon 2.2 because I wasn't
sure if we should put a W3C document into our SVN or even ship releases. Additionally I've
also added a sample to the cocoon-sample module and an integration test for it.

> XSL-FO (W3C Recommendation since 15th October 2001) is an XML-based markup language describing
the formatting of XML data for output to screen, paper or other media.
> The cocoon-pipeline already contains an XSLT component to transform documents, and the
Apache Community already manage the FOP Project (, so using
a simple FOP based handler is it possible to implement a simple backend for the pipeline that
supports also this Recomendation.
