Subject [jira] Closed: (COCOON-1944) [PATCH] Group widget id gets removed when group widget is just to group some sub widgets. AJAX won't work in that case

Lars Trieloff closed COCOON-1944.
---------------------------------

    Resolution: Fixed

Thank you.

It is applied in r467749. I changed the template to add the attribute only to elements and
to add only an id attribute if there is not already an id attribute in the container element.
This removes the neccessity to include duplicate ids in a form template if you would like
to keep your templates consistent.

> When you use a group widget just to group some widgets in order to apply some common
functionality such as setting the state of all widgets by setting the state of the group then
the id of the fi:group is not copied to its enclosed child element. Therefore using ajax will
fail as the widget id is not present in the html output.
> This is solved in the forms-field-styling.xsl. See patch.
