Subject How to config Cocoon to handle Japanese characters?
Date Thu, 15 Jun 2006 22:37:38 GMT

Hi there,

I have a problem to handle the Japanese characters using Cocoon.

In my xml file, I have data like:

  <link type="none" text="&#24471;&#12360;" fileNm="aaa.txt"
modifiedDT="06/15/2006 00:45:01 PM" coedit="yes">

In my xsl file, I specify the output is html:

  <xsl:output method="html"/>

When I invoke the Cocoon to generate the HTML file, I got the following
exception:
java.lang.IllegalStateException: committed

org.mortbay.jetty.servlet.Dispatcher.dispatch(Dispatcher.java:216)
        at org.mortbay.jetty.servlet.Dispatcher.forward(Dispatcher.java:151)

What should I do to let Cocoon handle those Japanese characters properly?
Thank you.
