ASSIGNED is ok as it means "accept bug" or "bug confirmed" (in contrary to NEW).
As long as you don't use "Reassign bug to ..." the bug is not assigned to you,
but remains assigned to dev@cocoon.apache.org. You can also see this in the
"Assigned To" in the bug description.
