URL of the website: www.gopubmed.org
Title of the website: GoPubMed - Ontology-based literature search
Cocoon version used: 2.1.7
Short summary:
Your query is submitted to PubMed and the resulting abstracts are classified
using Gene Ontology terms. GeneOntology is a hierarchical vocabulary for
molecular biology covering cellular components, biological processes and
molecular functions.
You can use the Gene Ontology to systematically explore your search results.

How can we verify this site is actually built with Cocoon?
When browsing PubMed articles in the right frame you can click the XML icon at
the bottom. This actually switches the user to the view name "raw" which
represents the PubMed articles in their original XML format.

The following questions are optional:

- How much time did it take to build the site from design to publication? 6
month
- How much traffic does the site handle? 50 hits per day
- What made you choose Cocoon to build the site? perfectly suitable for
document oriented web applications and a clear architecture
- What other information do you want to disclose (e.g. how does it work, how
did
you build it, what parts of Cocoon did you use)? besides the normal stuff I
use fins to render statistics one the fly, I wrote generators myself to bypass
some XSLT inefficiencies
- Can you provide a contact email address if people want further information?
