I was wondering if you might find a configuration option like:
<parameter name="get-header-fields" value="true"/>
for org/apache/cocoon/generation/LinkStatusGenerator.java to be useful to
the community.
Basically, if this option is set to true, we could call
http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/docs/api/java/net/URLConnection.html#getHeaderFields()
from the
http://cocoon.apache.org/2.1/apidocs/org/apache/cocoon/generation/LinkStatusGenerator.html#processURL(java.net.URL,%20java.lang.String)
method and add the name/value pairs as attributes to the xml output for each
link crawled.
