I forgot to mention: the exception that managed to slip through the cracks was
created by the _esql_query = _esql_connection.createQuery() method inside the
esql:execute-query xsl template. I first noticed the problem when the db was
down, but my xsp didn't report an error in its output. Other exceptions I
discovered could sneak through are invalid login credentials and connection
details, eg. server ip, for the pool config in cocoon.xconf.
