I'm encountering exactly the same problem - a web application that runs fine
when expanded, but fails when deployed as a WAR.  The stack trace is the same,
and the root cause seems to be the same: a javascript file that has a reference
to a packaged class.  In my case, it comes from an importClass() statement:

importClass(com.priorartisans.ticketing.reports.Domain)

I've attempted deploying the WAR under Tomcat 5.0.30 and Jetty 5.1.0.

I didn't see any info in the notes to indicate why this was marked as WONTFIX -
is there a reason, or a work around?
