I just found an interesting bug in the release notes of JSDK 1.4.2_06:

bf) Direct memory cannot be unreserved while reserving thread sleeps:

I know that some people reporting the problems even using this new java version.
The point is: maybe the 1.4.2_05 is a little bit buggy. So we cannot use
1.4.2_05 for test this bug, but not sure.....

Can you, please can try the SVN version of cocoon. I think we are planning a
soon a new release 2.1.6 and will be nice to fix this bug before release. If I
just have at hand a windows machine.... :-D
