It is indeed. And your proposal might be useful for simple cases (string 
in XML files => form datatype => string in request parameters). But I 
have an example where I need different convertors in binding and form 
definition: the binding happens to a file I have no influence on, the 
date format is dd.mm.yy. But in my application I have yyyy-mm-dd, so I 
need different convertors. Don't know if it is good to fallback on the 
form convertor - and have no time to think about it ;-)

What do others think about the proposal?
