I'm using current HEAD from CVS and I _can't_ confirm the behaviour you describe.

After logging in variable 'user' keeps its value and I never get the login
screen again.

I use Tomcat 4.1.29, Win2k and latest Cocoon.

Anybody else having the same problem?
