I, personally, *don't* want to know the implementation and I certainly don't
want to have my code reflect that it know's foreign code's implementation
details. I want to use abstractions based on contracts/work interfaces and not
deal with the internals of it, as this increases coupling and complexity
(regarding knowledge).

regarding 'understanding': I totally agree. but if they want to understand the
'how' of the SourceResolver they shall just do so. but when using components,
etc. the only important aspect to me is the 'what'. I want the 'how' to be
hidden (implementation/complexity hiding) and not be bothered with. in exchange
I stick to the contract(s).

but now this is really drifting away... ;-) I see non released resources as
bugs, thus the report. but I won't sleep less if this issue is just closed and
the code remains unchanged.
