Hi Alex,

I tried the attachment and yes you are right it does work (or not work)
exactly as you described.

However, I am not sure if that is not the "desired" effect.

Perhaps you can try doing in this way instead?

      <map:match pattern="test.portlet">
        <map:redirect-to uri="cocoon:/test.resource"/>
      </map:match>

But probably that will not achieve what you need, since you
explicitly wanted it to be a generator, I presume you needed
to do different things past the generation.

I will try and think of something. In the meanwhile, I am here
to say you are not the only idiot if you are one.
