you are correct that spaces aren't allowed, the problem is that cocoon is
changing an encoded string into a decoded string and passing that to the reader.

with the pipeline below if you access something like
http://localhost:8080/strings/hello%20world the src for the reader should be
http://domain.com/hello%20world, instead it is http://domain.com/hello world
which is invalid.
