The instrumenation support seems to be broken due to a package name change:
[classNotFound] org.apache.excalibur.altrmi.common.OpenConnectionRequest
Solution (works for me):
- update the altrmi server components (0.9.5)
- update the altrmi client components (0.9.5)
- update the instrumentation client to the latest release
- update the runclient.* files in tools/instrumentation/bin
