For me: time. This couldn't have happened at a worse time. I've been away from the office for a week now, working on-site with clients who keep asking for demos of 2.1. Unfortunately, I can't show them anything. I can't even get an old copy from CVS since that has been broken too. So I can only say "let's talk more about the stable release". In the evenings, I'm busy researching answers to their copious questions, and certainly don't have the time to put in the amount of work required to bring the samples back to life. When I'm back in the office I'll be happy to pitch in. Don't get me wrong: I *love* the new build system. I love that jetty "just runs". I love the fact that CVS is lightning fast. But my customers don't love that I can't show them flow control, or any of the other neat things in 2.1 that I can't tell them about. It's embarrassing :-( Andrew, cut to ribbons on the bleeding edge. -- Andrew Savory Email: andrew@luminas.co.uk Managing Director Tel: +44 (0)870 741 6658 Luminas Internet Applications Fax: +44 (0)700 598 1135 This is not an official statement or order.
