Sorry to put my spoon here ;)

I think Torsten is right. We cannot make dialects. If the users have now 
problem with the current syntaxis, this will be even worse if also we will 
need to ask:

"What dialect are you using?"

I think, the proposed {\1} looks nice. And its very easy to understand.
