The latest xforms spec has increased the degree of separation between xforms and the actual UI that gets rendered by replacing @selectUIType=(specific-UI-controls) with @appearance=minimal|compact|full. I've resulted to writing a short heuristic that looks at the no. arguments and chooses by some simple rules - the same ones I'd use if I was designing the form by hand in html. This is very application and taste specific though. I think that this issue can be looked at more fully when XMLForms moves to XForms 1.0 names and attributes. (By the way, it would be a good idea if there were an XSLT stylesheet to convert old forms to new ones). --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: cocoon-dev-unsubscribe@xml.apache.org For additional commands, email: cocoon-dev-help@xml.apache.org
