Subject Re: <something to do with NoClassDefFoundError>
Date Tue, 16 Jul 2002 08:37:17 GMT
Hi,

Damn, I had already deleted the message and forgot the subject, but someone
was having problems with 'NoClassDefFoundErrors'...
(Cocoon 2.0.3, jdk1.4 and Tomcat 4.0.4 on Linux, I think)

I was just reading the RMIGenerator document, when I encountered this...

Somewhere on the Web we had read a mail from someone who was also having
NoClassDefFoundErrors that he was able to solve by unzipping all the
jar-files (a jar is basically a zip file containing the compiled classes)
from "$TOMCAT_HOME/webapps/cocoon/WEB-INF/lib/" into the
"$TOMCAT_HOME/webapps/cocoon/WEB-INF/classes/" directory. We stopped
Tomcat, emptied the work-directory and started Tomcat again.

Hopes this helps...
