Manager without object mapping hangs Cocoon

           Summary: Manager without object mapping hangs Cocoon
           Product: Cocoon 2
           Version: 2.0.2
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Windows NT/2K
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Major
          Priority: Other
         Component: core
        AssignedTo: cocoon-dev@xml.apache.org
        ReportedBy: tdensmore@witness.com

1> Define a custom manager in the cocoon.xconf file such as:

<manager
  role="com.witsys.xxx.xxxManager"
  class="com.witsys.xxx.xxxManagerImpl"
  >
  <manages name="com.witsys.xxx.Xxx"/>
  <manages name="com.witsys.xxx.XxxImpl"/>
</manager>

2> Do *NOT* define an XML mapping to the managed object, such as:

  <class name="com.witsys.xxx.XxxImpl" identity="objectId" key
generator="HIGH/LOW">
    <map-to table="LOCATION"/>
    <cache-type type="unlimited" capacity="32"/>
    <field name="yyy" type="string" required="true">
      <sql name="YYY" type="varchar"/>
    </field>
  </class>

3> Restart Tomcat to reload cocoon.xconf
4> Notice that Tomcat hangs
