This patch works correctly and helps a lot when you have to use different
encodings.
The author of the patch, Miyabe Tatsuhiko, kindly explained some features in
more detail, with also a reference to a discussion on the cocoon-dev list.
Therefore, IMHO, it can be added to CVS.
