Comments inside an external parameter entity are inserted in the SAX pipeline when using resolver.jar

Summary: Comments inside an external parameter entity are
inserted in the SAX pipeline when using resolver.jar
           Product: Cocoon 2
           Version: 2.1alpha CVS
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Windows NT/2K
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: Other
         Component: general components
        AssignedTo: cocoon-dev@xml.apache.org
        ReportedBy: stevenn@outerthought.org

(just a reminder)

When using the entity resolver (from Sun, being considered to become an xml-
commons project under the Apache umbrella), the following behaviour occurs:

The pipeline is configured to start generating from an XML document referring
to a DTD using a PUBLIC identifier, which is resolved by the entity resolver.
The DTD contains a number of references to external parameter entities
(declared using SYSTEM id's).

When the generated stream is passed immediately into a serializer, the comments
inside the external parameter entities are written incorrectly in the output
stream, i.e.:

<!DOCTYPE foo PUBLIC "pub-id" "sys-id"<!-- comment from inside entity -->>
<foo>

When the generated stream is passed into a transformer doing an identity
transformation, everything works fine.
