AFAIR caching event pipeline... It should have no effect at all.
Try attached XSP (put into docs/samples/xsp):

http://localhost:8080/xsp/cacheable?param=Some+Value

and then:

http://localhost:8080/xsp/cacheable?param=Another+Value

...and try to reload this one ;)
