How to generate XML tags within methods?!

           Summary: How to generate XML tags within methods?!
           Product: Cocoon 2
           Version: 2.0
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: Other
         Component: core
        AssignedTo: cocoon-dev@xml.apache.org
        ReportedBy: smcocoon@ihost.de

Hi,

We want to dynamically generate XML tags within Java methods, e.g. using the
following method. But the conflict is that at the beginning of the document, it
doesn't allow tags like <message> and in the middle of the document, it doesn't
allow to define methods. So in what way can we dynamically generate tags out of
a Java method? Does anyone have examples (would be great!)?

<xsp:logic>
public void test()
{
  int i = 0;
  for (i = 0; i != 5; i++)               // since < doesn't work
  {
    <message>
    .. Java code ..
    </message>
  }
}
</xsp:logic>

Thanks in advance,
Steffen Mueller
