Brilliant example!  The workaround for this in the past was to write a
little javascript browser sniffer to detect the platform.  After MacIE5 if
you still want to use pixels you have to rewrite the javascript to detect
not only platform but browser, so you can still give Nav the version based
on 72dpi.  More proof to use em, in my opinion.
