We are currently in the process of moving the Source interface to
Avalon excalibur. A first start of this can be found in the scratchpad
of excalibur.
Currently, we are searching for a connection between the Source and
the Monitor package. (see
http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?t=100573403100001&w=2&r=1).

I still am in favour of separating these things, so I would
rather add a Destination interface. But let's see what we can make
out of it.
