Subject Java compiler and Eclipse project
Date Thu, 08 Nov 2001 21:56:27 GMT
I have experienced many problems with classpath and Java compilation
with Websphere months ago. Cocoon have workarounds to solve this
problems, but today IBM opensourced the Eclipse project
(http://www.eclipse.org/). This tool has a plugin that includes a Java
source code parser and compiler. I think that this source can help a lot
with those problems,. I remember too a message posted on the list that
the sun.tools...... javac class will not be available in the JSE1.4 (I
don't know if that changed).

I want to begin to start implementing a new Cocoon compiler with that
source, but anybody knows if eclipse license
(http://www.eclipse.org/legal/cpl-v05.html) can be accepted in Cocoon?
