Hi Vadim,

I have since RTFM, did the changes required and
got the following:  

BTW: $TOMCAT_HOME/bin/startup -f server.xml 
          Reports this error in tomcat logs:
usage: java org.apache.catalina.startup.Catalina [ -config {pathname} ] [ -debug ] [ -nonaming
] { start | stop }

Started server with ./startup.sh  

cocoon logs reports this:
