Subject Distinction of factory and normal Matcher/Selector
Date Fri, 18 May 2001 13:08:32 GMT

Is there a need to distinguish in the sitemap CodeFactory classes from
"normal" classes? Now we can write

   <map:matcher name="..." src="my.own.Matcher"/>
or
   <map:matcher name="..." factory="my.own.MatcherFactory"/>

Because the sitemap.xsl is able to determine the implemented interface
of its own (and doesn't need a hint by using different attribute) I
don't see any further need to have the factory attribute.

Should I remove the factory attribute?

Giacomo
