Subject Re: [C2][Mac OS X] Problems with SVG/Batik rendering

In answer to my own question (and for the record), there is apparently a
bug in the implementation of 'child rasters' in the current release of
Java on Mac OS X which breaks Batik. A bug report and example has been
submitted to Apple by Thomas Deweese <mailto: thomas.deweese@kodak.com>.
