Subject Re: [C2] WebLogic 6.0sp1 installation problem
Date Wed, 30 May 2001 13:42:19 GMT

Am trying to modify C2 to deploy it as a WAR file. Can you help me fix things? Here are the

1. Cleanup/re-install weblogic.
2. Get the latest C2 from CVS xml-cocoon2
3. Build cocoon.war and place it in \bea\wlserver6.0sp1\config\mydomain\applications directory
4. Place the xalan, xerces jars in \bea\wlserver6.0sp1\lib directory
5. Modify the startWebLogic.cmd to include xalan and xerces before weblogic jars
6. Fire up the server and point your browser to /cocoon/ URL.

I have gotten as far as the initial screen. Now i need to see what else is broken and how
to fix
it. Patches are welcome. I really want to get rid of the steps #4 and #5 to be able to deploy
Cocoon2 in a distributed environment (web-farm?) without needing manual edits.
