I am inclined to agree with using <map:param>, though perhaps we could
get some additional mileage by adding the ability to specify multi-valued
parameters? For instance, if you had a component that needed to load-balance
across several servers:
  <map:paramlist name="server">
    <map:param value="server1.myco.com"/>
    <map:param value="server2.myco.com"/>
    <map:param value="server3.myco.com"/>
  </map:param>
Or would this be implicit in:
  <map:param name="server" value="server1.myco.com"/>
  <map:param name="server" value="server2.myco.com"/>
  <map:param name="server" value="server3.myco.com"/>
?
