Where would you like FOP to be? If you mean vector graphics in PDF, FOP has
unapplied patches to do this (unapplied because W3C's SVG DOM implementation
is broken and requires custom fixes which average users can't do). However,
creating SVG out of spreadsheets and embedding it in XML or HTML isn't
really FOP's deal.

Ross Burton submitted an updated CISRO SVG based serializer update. I know
the intention is to promote FOP as the right way to go but this is something
we desire while FOP is getting where it needs to be.

Didn't someone have a wadge of SVG code a while back? I remember
Pier mentioning it when I was first involved.
