Ooops.  it's 1.7.2

and the only non-distribution code I'm using is that I have xerces from CVS
because of a bug with the <map> tag not working in the current xerces
distro.

I'll give it try.  I'll also download the Sun JDK and see if it fixes
anything.....arrghh!!!
