I don't like this perspective.  The GPL is only their to enforce the
rights of the original author.  If you don't like the GPL then write it
yourself.

The point is that if your are in a place where you have to sell your
software for $$$ then you have a bad business model.  The new OSS
economy won't permit that because the old model of making money from
selling your software is dead because OSS is such a better way to write
software........ :)
