Subject Cocoon and Tomcat
Date Fri, 14 Apr 2000 09:33:19 GMT
Hello Guys.....

Im new to this cocoon. I installed cocoon1.7.2.
I have Tomcat 3.1b running on Linux 6.0 with
Kernel 2.2.5-15 on an i686.

I have a sample XSP file in cocoon directory...
this is the document root for this to run.
I have WEB-INF directory under this and consists
of web.xml. Im attaching this web.xml with this mail.
I don't think there is a problem in mapping as
im able to run a sample xml file (this doesn't have any
logic this is stefano's first cocoon page) from this context.

But when i try to run a sample XSP file it gives me the
following errors:

Error found handling the request.
java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: org.w3c.dom.Node: method normalize()V not found
	at org.apache.xerces.dom.ElementImpl.normalize(
	at org.apache.cocoon.processor.xsp.XSPLogicsheet.apply(

	at org.apache.tomcat.core.ServletWrapper.handleRequest(

	at org.apache.tomcat.service.http.HttpConnectionHandler.processConnection(
Can any one help me out to solve this problem.
Thanks in advance.
