James is a 200kb jar? Sold! I'll happily recode to use that. If you need a
tester, I'm your man. Is James in CVS somewhere?

I'll tell you this: James + Avalon = 200Kb jar file. 1/5 of Xalan jar
file :-)
 
It will ge a little bigger over time, but not that much. Anyway, I'm not
forcing anybody to go this way, but it will make so much sense...
