I have the same problem.
I just removed "resource" item in the line 218 of build.xml file:

  <jar jarfile="${build.dir}/${name}.jar" basedir="${build.dest}"
manifest="${build.src}/Manifest.mf" items="org"/>

^- removed "resource" item
don't know if this breaks Cocoon, but at least ANT compile ...
