Jeff,

The bridge naming format changed and to make the transition smoother, a libvirt hook was used
to rename the bridges within the libvirt config.
See the release notes for 4.3 and search for 'hook': http://cloudstack-release-notes.readthedocs.org/en/4.3/rnotes.html

As a person also interested in eventually going from 4.2 to 4.7, can you
explain a little more about this libvirt hook?
