Subject Issue in Advance Network Instance not Getting IP from VR two Node Setup
Date Thu, 16 May 2013 08:30:30 GMT
Hi Team,

I was really stuck up with this issue for really two months. Guys please guide me what when

Problem :- I have two node setup when I create a instance or migrate machine I could not
get IP address from the VR.

This only happens if my VR and instances are in different node.

My Setup

Native Vlan 65 Cisco Catalyst 3750

My CLoudstack

Nic0: (Management Traffic [Xen Label (cloud-mgmt)])

Nic1: (Public & Guest Traffic [Xen Label (cloud-public)]) mention same
label for both.

Nic0 : (xen Network label (cloud-mgmt)

Nic1: ( xen Network label (cloud-public)

Nic0 : (xen Network label (cloud-mgmt)

Nic1: ( xen Network label (cloud-public)

Both the xenserver are connected in same switch as trunk port.

Switch Config

interface FastEthernet1/0/10

 switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q

 switchport trunk native vlan 65

 switchport mode trunk

 no logging event link-status

 no snmp trap link-status

 spanning-tree portfast

Same as for all the port that connected xenserver.

Guest Vlan Range Used as 701 - 800.

I really don't know what really wrong with my config. If I pass this test I can really implement
for production.
